[Have their opinions past]

[?]
Have their opinions past
Concerning of this sinfull age,
How long the world will last.
And thus in judgement they agree,
The world will soone disolved be
Sweet England now repent,
Doomsday is neere at hand.

At Beldam Shipton prophesie,
Though many folkes do scoffe,
And eke also at Myrlins bookes
Some men will jeere and laugh,
Yet divers things are come to passe,
The which by them forespoken was
Sweet England now repent
Doomsday is neere at hand

Hete beginneth the prophesie of Elia-
nour Bourke an Irish woman which lived
in Corke from the yeere 1640. till 1648.

Nell Bourk an I[rish] woman she
Proviz'd of five yeeres warres,
Which should in that same kindom be,
With blood-shed wounds and skars,
And how the Irish men by might
Should keep the English from their rlght.
All these are tokens that
Doomsday is neere at hand.

Also she said at five yeers end
That Ireland should be sold,
Unto a savage nation which,
Are worse a thousandfold,
Then either Caniball, Turk, or Jew,
The which will make all England rue,
Sweet England now repent
Doomsday is ncer at hand.

With cruell usage Irish men
shall be so sorely wearied

That English men might rule againe,
All these are tokens that
Doomssday is neere at hand.

And after these five years are past,
The bloody wars shall cease
Ten Pestilence and Famine both
Shall in Ireland increase
Where women shal through want of meat
Their own deere sucking infants eate
Al these are tokens that,
Doomsday is neere at hand.

Then shall the Sun eclipsed be
The Moon shall give no light,
The stars shall fall, and not be seene:
Againe in peoples sight.
And all that doth alive remaine,
Shall in a minutes space be slaine.
Sweete England now repent
Doomsday is neere at hand.

This endeth Nell Bourks prophesie
Here beginneth another, concern-
ing the great con[j]unction
which will happen
February the 16. 1643.
betweene Saturn and Jupiter.

Master John Booker doth make knowne
In his Prognostication,
How that in England's like to be,
a suddaine alteration
However it chance be it wrong or right
The armies both are bent to fight,
Sweet England now repent etc.

The sixteenth day of Februarie,
There will a conjunction bee
The Planites in the firmaments,
Doth seeme to disagree,
Both Saturne and great Jupiter

Yet some illitterate pepeople doth,
Their learned lines reject:
They thinke the time will never come
The which is calldd the way of doome
Sweet England now repent etc.

If mens words may not be beleev'd,
I briefly will unfold,
the words which Jesus Christ our Lord
To his Disciples tould,
Concerning of the latter day:
Therefore give eare to what I say
These tokens doth foretell
Doomsday is neere at hand.

Christ said before the latter day
Rumors of wars shall be,
And nations against nations rise
Of both high and low degree,
With famine plagues and pestilence
The Lord would send for mans offence
All these are tokens that
Doomsday is neere at hand.

Now let each man consider well
The trubels of this land,
And how the Lord hath smitten us
With his afflecting hand,
And then looke back and well behould.
the words which Christ our Lord hath tould
Then we may well say
Domesday is neere at hand,
